Today is the First Sunday of Lent.


WAY OF THE CROSS SCHEDULE:

  • Sunday: After the 8:00 a.m. Mass for children, conducted by the Sunday School.
  • Friday: 6:30 p.m. in English, organized by the area assigned for the daily liturgy.
  • Saturday: 6:30 p.m. in Konkani, organized by the area assigned for the daily liturgy.


PRE-BAPTISMAL COURSE 2026: The course will be held on the following dates:

  • 27th February and 6th March
  • 26th June and 3rd July
  • 23rd October and 30th October
. Couples are required to register at the Church Office. It is recommended that the course be attended during the fifth or sixth month of pregnancy.


NIGHT VIGIL - Saturday, 28th FEBRUARY: A Night Vigil will be held from 7:00 p.m. to 11:00 p.m., conducted by the SVP members. All parishioners are warmly invited to participate.


TAIZÉ PRAYERS - Saturday, 7th MARCH: Taizé Prayers will be conducted by the Youth of our parish. Everyone is encouraged to attend.


MISSION OUTREACH - Sunday, 15th MARCH: The Mission Outreach to Sindhoni and Chisda Church will take place on Sunday, 15th March. The fee is ₹800 for adults and ₹500 for children. Registration along with full payment must be done by 1st March 2026. No late entries or refunds will be accepted. A donation box has been placed at the Church entrance for contributions towards the Sindhoni Mission. From 15th March onwards, there will be no 8:00 a.m. Children’s Mass and no Catechism classes. Both the Children’s Mass and Catechism classes will resume in June.


HEALTH CAMP - Sunday, 22nd MARCH: A Women’s Health Camp will be organized in collaboration with Rotary Women Empowerment, for women’s health check-ups. The camp will be held from 10:30 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. and is open to all women, including those from other faiths. All ladies are encouraged to attend and spread the word within their communities.


PARISH RETREAT - 20th TO 22nd MARCH: The Parish Retreat will be held after the evening Mass from 7:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. The sessions will be bilingual, and all parishioners are encouraged to participate.


TETELESTAI YOUTH RETREAT: The retreat will take place from 8th to 10th May at Idukki, Kerala. Parishioners may refer to the church notice board for further details or contact Benny Caldeira or Mr. Tony Rebello for inquiries.


IMPORTANT NOTICE: Kindly note that from 8th March onwards, the 8:00 a.m. Sunday Mass will not be celebrated until further notice.


Announcements : 15th February 2026

Today is the Sixth Sunday of Ordinary Time.


LENT BEGINS ON ASH WEDNESDAY – 18th FEBRUARY: Lent begins on Ash Wednesday, which is a day of fasting and abstinence. Holy Mass will be celebrated at 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m. Please note that there will be no Novena to Our Lady of Perpetual Succour on this day.


LENTEN BOXES: PPC members will distribute Lenten Boxes to all parishioners. Families are encouraged to use these boxes for their daily sacrifices throughout the Lenten season.

Announcements : 8th February 2026

Today is the 5th Sunday in ordinary times.


1. Wednesday, 11th February is the Feast of Our Lady of Lourdes.


2. Next Sunday, 15th February, there will be a second collection towards Holy Childhood. The proceeds will be sent to the Bishop’s House. Kindly be generous in your contribution.


3. On 15th February, a Blood Donation Camp will be held in our parish. We request all parishioners to support this noble cause and encourage others, including your non-Catholic friends and relatives, to participate. PPC members are requested to motivate people in their respective areas.


4. We begin the Holy Season of Lent with Ash Wednesday on 18th February. It is a day of Fasting and Abstinence. Masses will be celebrated at 6:30 a.m. and 7:00 p.m.

  • On Ash Wednesday and all Fridays of Lent, Catholics aged 14 years and above are required to abstain from eating meat (beef, pork, chicken, and other animal flesh; but fish, eggs, and dairy products are permitted). Abstinence helps us practice self-discipline and remember Christ’s sacrifice.
  • Fasting: On Ash Wednesday and Good Friday, Catholics between 18 and 59 years of age are required to fast. This means having only one full meal during the day. Two smaller meals may be taken if necessary, but they should not equal a full meal. No eating between meals.

Fasting, Prayer, and Charity are the three pillars of the Lenten season. We encourage everyone to make regular sacrifices, pray for the missions, and remember those in need. PPC members will distribute Lenten Boxes to help families make their Lenten sacrifices.

6. The Pre-Baptismal Course for the year 2026 will be conducted on the following dates:

  • 27th February and 6th March
  • 26th June and 3rd July
  • 23rd October and 30th October

Couples are requested to register at the church office. It is advisable to attend the course during the 5th or 6th month.


7. On 15th March, there will be a Mission Outreach to Sindhoni & Chisda Church. The contribution is Rs. 800 for adults and Rs. 500 for children. Kindly submit your names along with the amount at the earliest. The last date for registration is 1st March 2026. No last-minute entries will be entertained, and no refunds will be made in case of cancellation.



Announcements : 1st February 2026

Today is the 4th Sunday in ordinary times.


1. On Sunday, 15th February, a Blood Donation Camp will be held in our parish. We request all parishioners to support this noble cause and also encourage friends and relatives, including non-Catholics, to participate.


2. On Sunday, 15th March, there will be a Mission Outreach visit to Sindhoni and Chisda Church.
The contribution is Rs 800 for adults and Rs 500 for children.
Please give your names along with the amount as early as possible.
The last date for registration is Sunday, 1st March 2026.
No last-minute entries will be accepted and the amount will not be refunded in case of cancellation.
One bus has been booked so far. We will wait till Sunday, 15th February for more registrations from our parish. If the required number is not reached, registrations will be opened to parishioners from other parishes.


3. A Health Camp will be organized in our parish on Sunday, 22nd March, specially arranged for ladies to help them avail the available facilities and receive an update on their health.


4. Parishioners are kindly requested to regularly maintain the graves of their dear departed so that the cemetery remains well kept.


5. A donation box has been placed at the entrance of the church for those who wish to contribute towards the well-being of the Sindhoni Mission. Cheques may be handed directly to the Parish Priest. Flyers with further details are also available on the notice board.
