Announcements : 30th November 2025
1. Today is the First Sunday of Advent.
2. On Wednesday, 3rd December, we celebrate the feast of St. Francis Xavier. The evening mass on that day will be organized by St. Francis Xavier community.
3. On Sunday, 7th December, there will be a PPC meeting right after the 9:15 AM Mass. All PPC members are requested to attend and be on time.
4. On Monday, 8th December, all Masses will be in Konkani instead of English.
5. To those who would love to help the poor children in our missions are welcome to do so. We have some appeals which will help them to celebrate Christmas meaningfully. Cash or Cheque donations are welcome. You may meet the Parish Priest in person for this.
6. Requesting you all to kindly update the family card and asking you all to cooperate with the councillors who need your help to update the census forms.
7. Note from SVP: As Christmas approaches, let’s share joy with people in need. A special offering box is placed in the church to help the families adopted by SVP. You may donate food, toiletries, gifts, or any kind of help. Together, let us bring hope to others this Christmas. May God bless you abundantly.
8. The Dilkhush Sheltered Workshop Sale will be held on Sunday, 14th December 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Kindly support the cause by patronizing the sale.
CHRISTMAS PREPARATIONS
9. Crib, Star, and Church Decoration has been assigned to the respective communities. Please take responsibilities for your assigned work.
10. Evening Mass from 15th to 20th December will be at 6:30 PM.
11. General Confessions will be on 16th, 17th and 18th December after the evening mass. However, parishioners are encouraged to come for confessions on any day after daily mass to avoid overload on the priests on those dates.
12. - Crib: The Mass for the Old and Sick will be on Saturday, 20th December at 11:00 AM, organized by St. Dominic Savio and St. Jude communities. Confessions for the Old and Sick will be at 10:00 AM on the same day. Names of those who are old and sick should be submitted by 10th December.
13. Carol Singing will take place on 19th, 20th and 21st December by the Youth across all communities. Parishioners who wish to give gifts to their children through Santa Claus must hand over the gifts to their councillors by 15th December.
14. Church Cleaning will be done on 29th and 30th November by St. Francis Xavier community.
15. There will be Crib and Star competition.
- Star competition will be community-wise.
- Crib competition will be house-wise.
- Stars must be 2 feet in size.
- The last date to submit the stars in the church is 20th December.
Announcements : 23rd November 2025
1. Today is the Feast of Christ the King.
2. Today we will have the Adoration followed by a procession at 4:30 p.m. with the Blessed Sacrament around the village. The Ushers, Irmãos, and Catechists will assist in maintaining order, discipline, and devotion during the procession. The Sacramental Blessing will take place at St. Jude, St. Dominic Savio, and St. John the Baptist communities. All parishioners are encouraged to join in large numbers.
3. Thursday, 27th November is the Anniversary of the Parish Charismatic Group. On this occasion, the Mass will be celebrated in English, and the Novena of Ven. Fr. Agnelo will also be prayed in English. Konkani Mass of this day is adjusted to the 8th of December.
4. Next Sunday is the 1st Sunday of Advent. Let us prepare well and make this Christmas special.
5. Funerals:
Please note that from now on, Funeral Masses will only be held at 10:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m. There will be no Funeral Masses on Sundays. If a funeral is requested on a Sunday, only the burial will take place in the cemetery, without a Mass.
Families are kindly requested to inform the Parish Priest well in advance when deciding the date and time of the funeral. Please avoid last-minute communication. Fathers and PPC members must be informed beforehand, before making any announcements or posting information on social media.
6. Sacraments (Anointing of the Sick, Communion, etc.) should be given in advance if a person is seriously unwell.
7. 5th December is the First Friday. Holy Half-Hour will be at 6:30 p.m. followed by Mass.
8. PPC Meeting will be on 7th December after the 9:15 a.m. Mass. All PPC members are requested to be present and on time.
9. 8th December Mass will be in Konkani instead of English.
10. Parish Census: Councillors will visit homes for the parish census. Please cooperate with them.
11. 1% Tithe: All parishioners are encouraged to give their 1% tithe regularly.

13. Mass for the Old and Sick will be held on Saturday, 20th December at 11:00 a.m., and will be organized by St. Dominic Savio and St. Jude communities.
14. Confessions for the Old and Sick will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, 20th December, the same day as the Mass for the Old and Sick. Please submit the names of those who are elderly or unwell by 10th December.
15. General Confessions will be on 16th, 17th, and 18th December after the evening Mass.
16. The evening Mass from 15th to 20th December will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m.
17. Carol Singing: On 19th, 20th, and 21st December; will be led by the Youth for all communities.
Parents who want Santa to give gifts to their children should hand over the gifts to their councillors by 15th December.

1. Today we celebrate the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time.
2. Thursday, 20th November is the Feast Day of Ven. Fr. Agnelo. The feast Mass will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m.

5. Mass bookings for the New Year 2026 will begin on Tuesday, 25th November 2025 during office hours. Please bring your family card when requesting Mass intentions. Only two intentions will be accepted at this time. Additional intentions will be taken from 13th February 2026 onwards.
6. Admission forms for Kindergarten, Junior K.G., and Senior K.G. at Holy Cross School, Juhu Tara will be available on Monday, 15th December 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
7. Online admissions for Nursery, Junior K.G., and Senior K.G. at St. Joseph Convent High School, Vile Parle (West) are currently in progress. For further details, please refer to the church notice board.
Announcements : 9th November 2025
1. Today we celebrate the 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time.
2. The Novenas of Venerable Fr. Agnelo will begin on Tuesday, 11th November. Kindly refer to the fliers distributed through your councilors for details. All parishioners are encouraged to participate in large numbers and pray earnestly for his beatification so that we may have a saint. Those who wish to sponsor flowers for the Novenas are most welcome to do so.
3. The Central Suburbs Deanery will be celebrating Deanery Youth Day 2025 for youth between the ages of 15 to 25 years on Sunday, 16th November 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s High School, Juhu. Youth members are requested to contact their respective Youth Representatives for passes.
4. We will celebrate the Solemnity of Christ the King on Sunday, 23rd November. This marks the final Sunday of Ordinary Time. From 30th November, we will enter the Advent season, a time of spiritual preparation for the birth of our Lord.
5. Announcements : 2nd November 2025
1. Today after the 9:15 a.m. Mass, we will have the PPC meeting.
2. Cleaning of the Cemetery: Those who are free are requested to go to the cemetery and help decorate the graves.
3. 2nd November: This evening, there will be Mass in the cemetery at 5:00 p.m.
4. A big thank you to all our parishioners and volunteers who helped clean and maintain the cemetery chapel. It now looks beautiful! We appreciate all your hard work and assure you of our prayers and best wishes. Everything you have done is for the Lord and His Mission.
5. Now that the cemetery has been cleaned, let us all continue to keep it neat and tidy by visiting and helping to maintain the surroundings.
6. 7th November is the First Friday of the Month. The Holy Half Hour will begin at 6:30 p.m., followed by Mass.
7. The Novena of Fr Agnelo begins on 11th November. Everyone is encouraged to take part and pray for his beatification, so that he may soon be honoured at the Altar. Please check the fliers for the daily themes. Those who wish to sponsor flowers during the novena may do so at the parish office.

10. Dilkhush Sheltered Workshop, Juhu Tara is looking for volunteers to help them prepare for their annual sale from 10th November to 14th December. Timings are Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Even if you can spare a few hours a week, your help will be appreciated. Kindly give your names to Fr. Anthony.
11. Those who wish to purchase a Konkani Bible Diary are requested to give their names and Rs. 200 to Mr. John, our sacristan, at the earliest.
Announcements : 26th October 2025
1. Today is the 30th Sunday in Ordinary Time.
2. Today, October 26th, there will be no 8:00 a.m. Mass and no Sunday school.
3. A big thank you to all the parishioners who joined the walking pilgrimage to Mount Mary on October 21st. However, we had fewer participants than expected considering the size of our parish.
4. The cleaning of the cemetery is scheduled for today, October 26th, at 4:00 p.m. Grave decoration can be done on November 2nd.
5. The Feast of St. Jude will be celebrated on Tuesday, October 28th, during the 7:00 p.m. Mass. The liturgy will be organized by St. Jude Community.
6. We will celebrate the Solemnity of All Saints on November 1st.
7. All Souls Day is on November 2nd. Mass in the cemetery will be at 5:00 p.m. Pluri intentions will be taken for that day, and Mass intentions can be given at the parish office. The last date to give these intentions is November 1st. Masses in the church on that day will be at 6:30 a.m., 8:00 a.m., and 9:15 a.m.
8. On November 2nd, there will be a PPC meeting after the 9:15 a.m. Mass. All PPC members are requested to be present and on time.
9. The Silver Jubilee celebration for some Pilar Priests, including Fr. Querobino and Fr. Raymond, is today, October 26th. Please keep them in your prayers.
10. The Youth of the Goan Outreach Association, Mumbai, is organizing an entertaining evening called Prom Nite 2025 on Saturday, November 8th, 2025, at Blossoms Lawn, Andheri East, from 7:00 p.m. onwards. All are welcome. For registration and more details, please check the church notice board.
11. Dilkhush Sheltered Workshop, Juhu Tara, needs volunteers to help from November 10th to December 14th as they prepare for their annual sale. The timings are Monday to Friday, from 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Even a few hours of help each week will be appreciated. Please give your names to Fr. Anthony.

Announcements : 19th October 2025
1. Today is the 29th Sunday in Ordinary Time, a special day for prayer, reflection, and helping the missions.
2. It is also Mission Sunday, a day to support missionaries and charity work. Please pray for the missions and missionaries and be generous with your donations and prayers. Return the mission envelopes by October 27th to your councilors so we can have all the numbers of envelopes that we had issued.
3. The SVP will run a canteen today after Mass in the church premises. All the money collected will go to the missions. Anyone who wishes to sponsor any amount to the missions in private can do so at the parish office.
4. The cemetery cleaning will take place on October 26th at 4:00 p.m., and grave decoration will be on November 2nd.
5. On All Souls Day, Mass in the cemetery will be at 5:00 p.m. Pluri intentions will be taken for that day, and you can give your Mass intentions at the parish office. Masses in the church on that day will be at 6:30 a.m., 8:00 a.m., and 9:15 a.m.
6. Walking pilgrimage to Mount Mary Shrine will be held on October 21st with Mass at 9:00 a.m. All parishioners are invited to join, and parents are requested to encourage their children to come along. There will be no 6:30 a.m. Mass on that day. Both Mass intentions for that day will be read at the 7:00 p.m. Mass.

1. Today is the Twenty-Eight Sunday in Ordinary Time.
2. Today we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Pilar. Please remember all the Pilar Fathers in your prayers.
3. Throughout this month, please pray the Rosary. If possible, please visit your neighbors and pray for their well-being.
4. Cemetery cleaning has begun. Parishioners are requested to join and help with the cleaning on the 19th and 26th of October.
5. Mission Sunday is on 19th October. Mission envelopes have been given to the councillors. If you haven’t received one, please collect it from them. Kindly return the envelopes by 27th October.
On this day, we will pray for all the Clerics, Religious, and Laity who work for the Mission of Christ. A second collection will also be made for the Missions and sent to the Bishop’s house.
6. On 19th October, the SVP will put up a canteen in the church premises after mass. All profits will go towards supporting the missions. Those who want to sponsor anything for the well-being of the missions are requested to contact the SVP members.

7. The Walking Pilgrimage to Mount Mary Shrine, Bandra, will be on 21st October. We will leave the church at 6:30 a.m., and Mass at the Basilica will be at 9:00 a.m. Parents are encouraged to send their children, and it would be wonderful if we could all join in large numbers. Those who are unable to walk may come directly to the venue by auto.
Please note: There will be no 6:30 a.m. Mass in the church on that day. Both Mass intentions will be read during the 7:00 p.m. evening Mass.
8. On 26th October, is the Silver Jubilee Celebration of some of our Pilar Priests, which will be celebrated in Pilar. We request you all to please keep them in your prayers, especially Fr. Querobino and Fr. Raymond, who are among them.
9. During the Diwali holidays, parents are requested to send their children for daily morning Mass.
Announcements : 5th October 2025
1. Today is the Twenty-Seventh Sunday in Ordinary Time.
2. After the weekday morning Masses, only a few people stay back for the Rosary near the Grotto. Those who are free are encouraged to join this prayer. Parents are specially requested to send their children, at least on Thursdays.
3. October is the month dedicated to Our Blessed Mother. As the statue of Our Lady visits different communities, all families are requested to pray sincerely for the needs of the Holy Father, our priests, religious, laity, and especially for our nation.
4. From today, after every Mass, we will say a Prayer for Peace, Protection, and Communal Harmony in India. This prayer has been introduced in all churches of the Bombay Archdiocese as recommended by Archbishop John Rodrigues.
5. Today, after Mass, there will be a PPC meeting. All members are requested to attend the same without fail and be on time.
6. On Monday, 6th October, we will celebrate the birthday of Rev. Fr. Anthony Cardoz. We will pray for him during the 7:00 p.m. Mass.
7. On Tuesday, 7th October, we will have the 2nd Rite for the Confirmands, and on Friday, 10th October, the 2nd Rite for the Communicants. All Confirmands and Communicants are requested to attend the Mass along with their parents without fail. Please inform your parents in advance.
8. On Sunday, 12th October, we celebrate the Feast of Our Lady of Pilar, the patroness of the Pilar Fathers. Let us pray that the Pilar Fathers remain true to their missionary call.
9. There will be a meeting of the Irmaos on Sunday, 12th October after the 9:15 a.m. Mass. Those who wish to join the Irmaos are also welcome.
10. The cemetery cleaning will be done on two Sundays - 12th and 19th October.
11. Sunday, 19th October is Mission Sunday. The Mission envelopes have been given to the councilors. Please return them by Monday, 27th October.
