Announcements : 14th December 2025
1. Requesting you all to kindly update the family card and asking you all to cooperate with the councillors who need your help to update the census forms.
2. The Dilkhush Sheltered Workshop Sale will be held Today, Sunday, 14th December 2025 from 10:00 AM to 5:00 PM. Kindly support the cause by patronizing the sale.
3. Evening Mass from 15th to 20th December will be at 6:30 PM.
CHRISTMAS PREPARATIONS
4. Crib, Star, and Church Decoration has been assigned to the respective communities. Please take responsibilities for your assigned work.
5. The Star and Crib competition will be held in our parish. The Star competition will be community-wise, and the Crib competition will be house-wise. The stars should be 2 feet in size, and the last date to submit the stars at the church is 20th December. For more details, please contact your councillors.
6. Carol Singing will take place on 19th, 20th and 21st December by the Youth across all communities. Parishioners who wish to give gifts to their children through Santa Claus must hand over the gifts to their councillors by 15th December.
Carol singing around the village will start at 8:00 p.m. from the church. All Sunday School children are requested to gather at the church first, after which the youth will take them around the community.
Community Schedule:

– 20th Dec: St Jude & St Francis Xavier
– 21st Dec: St John Bosco & St John the Baptist
All communities are requested to be prepared and present for the carol singing.
7. The Mass for the Old and Sick will be on Saturday, 20th December at 11:00 AM, organized by St. Dominic Savio and St. Jude communities. Confessions for the Old and Sick will be at 10:00 AM on the same day. Names of those who are old and sick should be submitted by 10th December.
8. On Christmas Eve, Carols will begin at 9:30 p.m., followed by the Christmas Mass.
9. On 25th December, the morning Mass will be at 8:00 a.m. in the church.
10. On New Year’s Eve, there will be a Holy Hour from 11:00 p.m. to 12:00 midnight, followed by Mass.
11. On 1st January, the morning Mass will be at 8:00 a.m. in the church.
12. Please note that there will be no evening Mass on Christmas Day and New Year’s Day.

1. There will be a P.P.C. meeting today after the 9:15 a.m. Mass. All PPC members are requested to be present on time.
2. On 8th December is the Solemnity of the Immaculate Conception. There will be Konkani Mass instead of English Mass.
3. To those who would love to help the poor children in our missions are welcome to do so. We have some appeals which will help them to celebrate Christmas meaningfully. Cash or Cheque donations are welcome. You may meet the Parish Priest in person for this.

1. Today is the First Sunday of Advent.
2. On Wednesday, 3rd December, we celebrate the feast of St. Francis Xavier. The evening mass on that day will be organized by St. Francis Xavier community.
3. On Sunday, 7th December, there will be a PPC meeting right after the 9:15 AM Mass. All PPC members are requested to attend and be on time.
4. On Monday, 8th December, all Masses will be in Konkani instead of English.
5. To those who would love to help the poor children in our missions are welcome to do so. We have some appeals which will help them to celebrate Christmas meaningfully. Cash or Cheque donations are welcome. You may meet the Parish Priest in person for this.

1. Today is the Feast of Christ the King.
2. Today we will have the Adoration followed by a procession at 4:30 p.m. with the Blessed Sacrament around the village. The Ushers, Irmãos, and Catechists will assist in maintaining order, discipline, and devotion during the procession. The Sacramental Blessing will take place at St. Jude, St. Dominic Savio, and St. John the Baptist communities. All parishioners are encouraged to join in large numbers.
3. Thursday, 27th November is the Anniversary of the Parish Charismatic Group. On this occasion, the Mass will be celebrated in English, and the Novena of Ven. Fr. Agnelo will also be prayed in English. Konkani Mass of this day is adjusted to the 8th of December.
4. Next Sunday is the 1st Sunday of Advent. Let us prepare well and make this Christmas special.
5. Funerals:
Please note that from now on, Funeral Masses will only be held at 10:00 a.m. or 4:00 p.m. There will be no Funeral Masses on Sundays. If a funeral is requested on a Sunday, only the burial will take place in the cemetery, without a Mass.
Families are kindly requested to inform the Parish Priest well in advance when deciding the date and time of the funeral. Please avoid last-minute communication. Fathers and PPC members must be informed beforehand, before making any announcements or posting information on social media.
6. Sacraments (Anointing of the Sick, Communion, etc.) should be given in advance if a person is seriously unwell.
7. 5th December is the First Friday. Holy Half-Hour will be at 6:30 p.m. followed by Mass.
8. PPC Meeting will be on 7th December after the 9:15 a.m. Mass. All PPC members are requested to be present and on time.
9. 8th December Mass will be in Konkani instead of English.
10. Parish Census: Councillors will visit homes for the parish census. Please cooperate with them.
11. 1% Tithe: All parishioners are encouraged to give their 1% tithe regularly.

14. Confessions for the Old and Sick will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, 20th December, the same day as the Mass for the Old and Sick. Please submit the names of those who are elderly or unwell by 10th December.
15. General Confessions will be on 16th, 17th, and 18th December after the evening Mass.
16. The evening Mass from 15th to 20th December will be celebrated at 6:30 p.m.
17. Carol Singing: On 19th, 20th, and 21st December; will be led by the Youth for all communities.
Parents who want Santa to give gifts to their children should hand over the gifts to their councillors by 15th December.

1. Today we celebrate the 33rd Sunday in Ordinary Time.
2. Thursday, 20th November is the Feast Day of Ven. Fr. Agnelo. The feast Mass will be celebrated at 7:00 p.m.

5. Mass bookings for the New Year 2026 will begin on Tuesday, 25th November 2025 during office hours. Please bring your family card when requesting Mass intentions. Only two intentions will be accepted at this time. Additional intentions will be taken from 13th February 2026 onwards.
6. Admission forms for Kindergarten, Junior K.G., and Senior K.G. at Holy Cross School, Juhu Tara will be available on Monday, 15th December 2025 from 9:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.
7. Online admissions for Nursery, Junior K.G., and Senior K.G. at St. Joseph Convent High School, Vile Parle (West) are currently in progress. For further details, please refer to the church notice board.
Announcements : 9th November 2025
1. Today we celebrate the 32nd Sunday in Ordinary Time.
2. The Novenas of Venerable Fr. Agnelo will begin on Tuesday, 11th November. Kindly refer to the fliers distributed through your councilors for details. All parishioners are encouraged to participate in large numbers and pray earnestly for his beatification so that we may have a saint. Those who wish to sponsor flowers for the Novenas are most welcome to do so.
3. The Central Suburbs Deanery will be celebrating Deanery Youth Day 2025 for youth between the ages of 15 to 25 years on Sunday, 16th November 2025, from 4:30 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. at St. Joseph’s High School, Juhu. Youth members are requested to contact their respective Youth Representatives for passes.
4. We will celebrate the Solemnity of Christ the King on Sunday, 23rd November. This marks the final Sunday of Ordinary Time. From 30th November, we will enter the Advent season, a time of spiritual preparation for the birth of our Lord.

Announcements : 2nd November 2025
1. Today after the 9:15 a.m. Mass, we will have the PPC meeting.
2. Cleaning of the Cemetery: Those who are free are requested to go to the cemetery and help decorate the graves.
3. 2nd November: This evening, there will be Mass in the cemetery at 5:00 p.m.
4. A big thank you to all our parishioners and volunteers who helped clean and maintain the cemetery chapel. It now looks beautiful! We appreciate all your hard work and assure you of our prayers and best wishes. Everything you have done is for the Lord and His Mission.
5. Now that the cemetery has been cleaned, let us all continue to keep it neat and tidy by visiting and helping to maintain the surroundings.

10. Dilkhush Sheltered Workshop, Juhu Tara is looking for volunteers to help them prepare for their annual sale from 10th November to 14th December. Timings are Monday to Friday, 10:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m. Even if you can spare a few hours a week, your help will be appreciated. Kindly give your names to Fr. Anthony.
11. Those who wish to purchase a Konkani Bible Diary are requested to give their names and Rs. 200 to Mr. John, our sacristan, at the earliest.
